Try the service status check.

Mines the same and service status is showing an error with on demand and catch up, estimated fix tomorrow. Seems to be a wide-scale issue judging by the amount of messages about it on here tonight.

My shows and recordings is now working again but catch up and on demand still off.

That sounds right- the "My shows"  etc are functions of the box itself , on demand and catch up are networked. So once the box finishes booting and realises it cant connect to the on demand service, it will kick into locally stored stuff working AOK (including recording) but the fault will need to be resolved before on demand and catch-up re-appear

 Is that why when I try and force a connection to the network it constantly says network error failed?  Hope this gets fixed soon

Yes. Current ETA for a fix is tomorrow 8am according to my service status checker.

This is becoming a regular occurrence.
Stuck with Tivo for another nine months.

Ch5 Gadget Show review of V6 box was hardly complementary either

Tivo now managing to connect to the network but still no catchup or on-demand.  Service status has an estimated fix of 5 pm today hope it is fully fixed by then.
