TiVo subwoofer hum

Hi. My newly installed TiVo box is causing a really annoying hum from my subwoofer. Sub is connected to a pioneer amp and as soon as the TiVo hdmi cable touches the hdmi socket on the amp the sub start humming. It does the same if the TiVo hdmi cable touches an hdmi socket on my tv too which is also connected to the amp.

The hum stops if I disconnect the catv cable from the splitter to the TiVo. I tried swapping the tv and cable modem cables but the issue persists so it not the cable. I have also tried a few different sub cables and hdmi cables.

Any ideas? Do I need to get VM to put some sort of filter inline in the catv cable? There nothing there currently apart for a splitter with blue for broadband and yellow for tv.

Broadband is fine and reaching 200mbps speeds.

Re: TiVo subwoofer hum

Thanks. I'd worked that bit out myself :-)

I was wondering more if it's something vm can fix with filters or something on the coax. 3rd party audio isolators/filters can cause more issues than they fix in my experience, especially on a sub feed which needs low frequencies passed through without interruption.
