TiVo recordings

Why do we now have a narrator on recordings explaining action before we have dialogue from actors

are you tuned to an Audio Described channel?

 

watching a suggestion recorded from an AD channel?

 

might you have turned Audio Description on? (if there is such an option on Settings, can't get at the remote at the moment).

Hi Djkanne,

 

Welcome to the community Smiley Happy

 

I just wanted to pop by and see how things are with your recordings?  As sjp123 mentioned it does sound like Audio Description has been activated.

 

If you're still looking to turn this feature off just follow these steps:

 

When the recording is playing or even on just a live channel, press 'Info' button on your remote control, on the circle dial press the 'Down' arrow button twice and AD will be highlighted.  Next, Press OK to turn OFF or ON.
