TiVo playing up

My TiVo box has suddenly become very slow navigating through menus and has now decided it won't record everything I ask it too, when I check recording hiccups it says "Power Lost"
I know for a fact that there has been no loss of power, any ideas anyone!

I am sorry to learn about the TiVo playing up, it's never fun when this happens.
