Hello, our TiVo box stutters and freezes frequently on playback of recordings, including live TV but not on live broadcasts. I understand this is most likely a HDD problem? Anyway to back up our recordings before getting a technician to rectify the problem? TIA

*It may help to speed up the box by clearing the suggestions - Home - Help & Settings - Clear or Reset TiVo box - Clear Thumb Ratings & Suggestions - Enter Pin - To proceed - press Thumbs Down three times and then "LAST Ch" button on the remote.
