TiVo® isn't coming out of the 'Wake Up' state.

Hi I did a search but could not find a answer

My  TiVo® box isn't coming out of the 'Wake Up' state. only had it a month been doing this for 2 days now the only way I can get it to work is to unplug it 

Any help much appreciated

Is the light on the TiVo changing from red to green?

Is your TV switched to the correct input for TiVo when you try to wake it up?

Hi not noticed a green light got a white one on 

The TV finally came on after about 20/30 mins

Yes our light is white when its on and red when in standby

Oh ok, I;'d have expected green for 'on'.

Problem Solved!!

After calling Virgin these new boxes have a bug that puts them in a deep sleep but by changing the power saving settings that is meant to solve the problem.
