TiVo faulty service NG2

After getting a faulty TiVo box replaced by a new one, I am unable to get the TV guide, just getting 'to be announced' on every channel. I called up after 7 days of no guide and was told an engineer would come out, and now my house was called by VM to say no one is coming out as there is a fault on the service. But there is nothing on the status page!! Could someone from VM please help me, I'm not getting the TV service I'm paying for.

Hi I don't work for Virgin, but try, going to HOME>HELP&SETTINGS >SETTINGS>NETWORK>CONNECT TO THE VIRGIN MEDIA SERVICE NOW. This may take 30 to 40mins. But hopefully do the trick Regards Micky

Thanks, but that doesn't help, I get a service unavailable message.

I just someone from VM would clarify if there is a fault in the area or not!

Thanks anyway though.

All sorted now, there was a 11 day service fault on the network that didn't appear on the website!
