Hi. I recently received a letter from Virgin, notifying me of scheduled maintenance to my TV, broadband services, to be carried out on March 1st.
Since that date, i've noticed that most mornings, when i wake up, that BOTH of my TiVo boxes are on (ie, no longer in standby, the way i left them the previous night.)
This morning, at 6.15, i "caught" the bedroom box as it was rebooting (all the usual reboot lights were lit on the front panel), so i went to check the box in the living room...same.
This only SEEMS to happen on weekdays. I've never noticed it at weekends.
I've read similar comments, on this site, and it appears that overnight maintenance, this frequent, is rather odd, but surely the fact that it's happening to TWO boxes would suggest it's NOT an equipment fault.
It's not THAT big a deal at the moment, but only because i have not had any recordings disrupted by this. Won't be happy if i miss something!
Anyone else having similar issues, or can suggest a 'fix'?
Hi, Collette. Thanks for the reply... Do you know when the issue was supposed to be resolved? Both boxes rebooted at approximately 06.10, this morning and yesterday morning. I just happened to be awake at that time, and can't guarantee that will be the case tomorrow, but the lights will tell me if it's still happening! Thanks
