i have noticed that when the TiVo box is in stand by it does not record any shows. Do you know why it's doing this?
It should do.
I suggest you call 150 from a virgin phone or 0345 454 1111 from other phones.

From personal experience, the fastest way to sort things out is to contact 150 and NOT to wait for a response via these forums -they do respond here but slowly.
