TiVo box and itv hub

Last night, we tried to access a programme on the itv hub and we could only search by day, with programmes going back seven days only. In the end we watched on the iPad Smiley Happy

Seems the TiVo box can't get the full itv hub service, and the old  itv player is no longer available.  Is this likely to change? Do we need a new itv hub enabled box?

Re: TiVo box and itv hub

As with all services provided on Virgin's platform, its up to the broadcaster to decide what programming is available, & how it is accessed. Apart from the BBC iPlayer, which the BBC have provided a TiVO app to access their own internet playout facilities, all the other terrestrial broadcasters are just depending on the programmes being uploaded to Virgin's own Headend server network.

Considering the problems there have been with the iPlayer app since the start, its perhaps not surprising other broadcasters are reluctant to go down the BBC's route.

Re: TiVo box and itv hub

Thanks, guys, for your replies. So nothing to be done until itv decide to make the full options available to Virgin, is that right?
