My 1TB TiVo box, S/N C82864291XCPBWJB appears to of suffered a hard drive failure, bad vibration from the unit, and hard drive sounds bad.... unit keeps restarting but doesn't boot up just goes to starting up screen doesn't progress then reboots randomly.
Tried switching it off and on again, but due to it being a mechanical hard drive fault, as expected no change.
Swapped box with another box to eliminate cable... as mentioned though mechanical fault, so as expected works fine with another box.
All other services, and boxes working perfectly fine so services to property unaffected.
Signal levels within VM Specifications.
Downstream ranges from -1.5 to -0.5 dBmV SNR 40.3
Upstream, 40.5 dBmV
Engineer not required, only Quick Start Replacement Required.
Haven't had to phone In box faults past few times,
Problem with phoning in is you get put through to philippine call centre sometimes and even when it is a Welsh call centre as they are level 1 support usually insist on engineer, but on here you get through to level 2 support who can send out quick start packages for replacement when engineers aren't usually required.
