Hi All
like me are you fed up with the Rubbish Tivo box. And would leave at once if you could post here..then perhaps someone at Virgin might listen

An actual response has appeared in the last few days at

which acknowledges the issue. This seems to be extremely rare (the acknowledgement, that is).

Now, this doesn't mean that anything will be done about it, of course; but given the recent price increase news and a completely unusable Tivo I'm certainly looking at options (trouble is I'm under contract until next year).

The message above has bought them another week or so; we'll see if there's any further news then, but this is something they need to jump on, before more people jump off. I'm bitterly regretting going with Virgin for TV (the broadband was fine).

It's all rather weird - I am not experiencing any issues so it can't be a nationwide fault.

Fed up would be the polite way of saying how totally ***** off I am with virgin.
Tivo box has been crap long before the update, ive reset it twice this year losing all the kids fav shows and its still dross.
Customer service are as much use as an ejector seat in a helicopter.
Everyday these problems continue I'm a day closer to taking my business elsewhere.

It's a Samsung box with the new update. Initially it was very slow indeed after the update but oddly, it suddenly changed and if anything, it's running even faster than before.
