TV guide showing 'to be announced'

My TiVo box was stuck on the 'Starting up' screen however this has since been fixed but now I have no tv listings. Every channel on the guide is showing as 'To be announced', has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas as to how to fix it? Many thanks!

Re: TV guide showing 'to be announced'

Hey Rslamb Smiley Happy

Thank you for coming in and posting.

I would like to ask if there's been any change since you last posted? I'm very sorry that TV listings aren't available.

You can Connect to Virgin Media Service and this should push all the listings on to the TV for you, you can do this from:-

  1. Press Home on your TiVo remote
  2. Select Help & Settings.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Select Network.
  5. Connect to Virgin Media Service now.

Stay in touch and hope that this helps.

Ben

Re: TV guide showing 'to be announced'

Hi Ben

I also have this problem. I tried the solution you advised.

When I tried to connect to the Virgin Media Service I get an error report advising that the network cable is not connected. I have looked at the modem and my Tivo box and there are no unplugged cables.

Another thing is that I have not been able to use the Catch Up or On Demand service for over a week now.

Any help would be great

Thanks

Re: TV guide showing 'to be announced'

Hi Bellaboy85,

Welcome into the Community, I'm glad to see a new face and that the method above was something you tried Smiley Happy

I would like to ask if all cables are tight, in the correct places and that the hub is connected, (if possible), by an ethernet cable?

I was able to test the connection and wasn't able to find anything that could affect the listings loading on to the TiVo.

Can you tell me if this is still happening?

Take care.

Ben
