TV channels pixalated

Hi.

Anyone know how to sort out Virgin Media channels that are always pixelated?

Mainly the HD ones.

Re: TV channels pixalated

Hi MonsterMike,

Welcome to the Community!

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with pixelation.

I've run diagnostics on your equipment and I can see an issue with your DVB SNR levels that will need to be adjusted by a technician. I've sent you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) so I can arrange an appointment.

Re: TV channels pixalated

Hi

I am getting pixilation on certain channels and at random times. Some channels are almost constant. Particularly BT sports and HD channels. Advice please.

Hi Josh,

Re: TV channels pixalated

I've been having problems with HD channels pixelating for the last couple of weeks, it's not all of them and it seems to switch between which ones are affected. I'm sick of recording programmes that I can't watch though. Have other people had this resolved?

Re: TV channels pixalated

Hi

I am also experiencing Pixalation as well as some channels showing an error  telling me that there is something wrong with the signal (W02). This is despite installing a new TiVo box which, I was advised, would solve this issue. The issue began last week.

Could this be something to do with the hot weather we have been experiencing and, if so, wouldn't it be helpful if Virgin Media could advise their helpdesk that there is a problem so at least we could be told rather than being sent on a wild goose chase? I have lost a considerable amount of saved programmes in changing boxes, apparently to no avail.

Re: TV channels pixalated

Hi tomwm,

Welcome to the community.

I have checked your signals and everything's looking okay so I'd just like to know whether this is happening on certain channels?

Please ensure all cables are secure and reboot by the mains to see whether there's any improvement.

Re: TV channels pixalated

Hi PhilKenny186,

Thanks for taking the time to post.

I'd like to look into this but I'm unable to find your account at the moment.

I'll just need to pop you a private message which you will find if you click on the purple envelope at the top right of the screen.

Speak to you soon
