TV barely watchable and no internet

Our TV is now unwatchable due to constant freezing, and our internet is also unusable. The status page says all ok but its far from!

Tried all resets etc. Is there a fault sonewhere?

If the Service Status says all good and you have a problem, there are two possibilities:

 

1. There is an area issue that has just started and no-one has reported their fault. An issue only gets to the Service Status page when a number of people have reported the issue and it is apparent that it is an area or general problem.

 

2. You have a fault that is individual to you. This would never be reported on Service Status.

 

In either case, you should report the problem you are having by calling 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111.

I'm sorry to hear that your getting disruption of the picture on your channels.  I'll be happy to help get this sorted for you.

 

I have carried out some checks and everything signal and power level wise looks great from here.

 

Can you please get back to me with the following information:

 

*  Is the TiVo® box well ventilated?  

*  Have the leads connecting your box to the TV set plugged in securely?

*  Will this happen on every channel you watch, or specific channels?

*  Will this happen all the time or at specific times of the day?

 

With this information I will be able to help further.

It seems to be back to normal now.

 

Our neighbour is also on Virgin and was having the same issues with theirs, so must have been a local issue that didnt show up on the network status.
