TV anywhere login error

Whilst trying to log in to my tv anywhere all I get is an error indicating that my log in details are incorrect - the truth is that virginmedia is oversubscribed and it should display that message. It is obvious yet again that virginmedia can not cope with the promise of Internet access regardless but they take the money quick enough

giving the wrong error message deliberately is less than adequate from a provider and also the lack of capacity to cope after taking the subscriptions

Re: TV anywhere login error

I occasionally get a message saying that the app can't login at present - which sounds like the over-subscribed problem.  But it doesn't say the password is incorrect here.

Re: TV anywhere login error

This problem was reported on Service Status this morning and has since been resolved.

I'm not sure where you get the idea from that Virgin Media get the app to lie to you.

Re: TV anywhere login error

obviously you are not reading what I said - I never used the word lie

whilst trying to log in it frequently came back as - password or username incorrect

obviously that was not so - after many attempts using the correct username and password it then indicated that there was a heavy demand on the redource -

over subscription - unable to supply the squired service

i suppose as an employee you have to support their poor service

Re: TV anywhere login error

Which morning? Which Sunday? Why don't these posts have proper dates on them?

It's Friday 8th Jan and I have been getting the "high levels of demand - try later" message for 24 hours now.
