TV anywhere app but keep getting a TiVo not connected to network message.

My TV anywhere app will not connect to my TiVo box.  It says it is not on the Network. I have connected it with an Ethernet cable but it still will not recognise it.

i have all the recorded list etc on the app, but the remote and play functions will not connect.

 

any ideas?

Have you enabled network remote control in the Tivo menu

Yes, it's enabled. I have also rebooted both the TiVo box and hub

Welcome to the community

 

I am sorry to hear that your unable to use the remote or play function through the TV Anywhere app.

 

I appreciate you checking if network remote control is enabled.

 

Have you tried these instructions from our help pages. Check out this link and see if it helps in anyway. Also make sure that the device that you are using is on the same network as the TiVo®.

 

Let me know if your still having the same issue

Yes it is on the same network. Thanks for the help link but it has not helped. I cannot get the app to show that it is connected to the box
Any more ideas?

Thanks for getting back to us with that information. Sorry to hear that you are still unable to connect to your TiVo® via the TV Anywhere app.

 

Just a few questions on this. What device are you using for TV Anywhere? Are your TiVo® and SuperHub in the same room (thank you for verifying that  you have connected via an Ethernet cable)? When connecting via the Ethernet cable, are you connecting this straight from the SuperHub to the TiVo® with no other equipment connected (such as a third-party router or Powerline adapters)?
