TV Anywhere

For 2 weeks I have not been able to login in via the TV anywhere app on my iPads (x2). I have tried re-installing the apps but I just get a "fail to connect to Tivo box message. Any advice?

Thank you for you message, I hope you are well. I'm sorry that the TV Anywhere hasn't been as smooth as we'd have liked. There's a few tips you can try for the TV Anywhere, you may only need to try one or two:-

 

  • Sign out and sign back in, after clearing your cache/temp files. Make sure when signing in anywhere, that the caps lock is monitored and the username and password are typed correctly.
  • Reinstall the app itself, after clearing cache and cookies.
  • Check to see if you can sign into TV Anywhere from a PC to see if it streams. Please bear in mind that Chrome isn't supported.
  • Check that your device OS hasn't been changed recently, for example, Android 6.0.1 is unsupported.

Hi, Tried all of this but still get the same message. It is the same on multiple devices.

I would like to ask at what stage are you seeing this message, so I may know what part this is affecting you. Also, can you please remove one device and try to view shows from a PC through the website version?

The problem occurs immediately after entering credentials, on all devices.

Is there a limit to the number of devices supported?
