I have some programmes set up for Series Link record. Recently, and intermittently, programmes are not recording properly. The recording is starting late, and I have the feeling that the recording is starting only when I turn the box on from standby to watch something concurrent. Unless anyone has any ideas, I guess I'll have to give Virgin Help a call.
Hi, I am having exactly the same problems. I went as far as doing a complete TiVo reset, this seemed to fix it for a few days but then it has gone back to missing recordings. I called 150 last night and found out that this has been caused by a software update. The advice is to leave the TiVo on and disable stand-by!! I was told there will be a fix in a few months time, really! In a time when energy savings are important Virgin tell us to leave the TiVo on permanently consuming more power so we can continue to record when not at home.If Virgin were aware of this why did they not e-mail subscribers to warn them that the TiVo might not record, pretty poor service if you ask me.
