TIVO REBOOTING NORTHWEST LONDON

My Tivo kept rebooting itself this morning.  I live in London NW11.

 

Any one know why?

 

Is that harmful to the box and will it create problems later if it stops?

 

Any info would be gratefully received.

I'm over Goffs Oak way and it's been doing the same since five this morning  .  It keeps switching off with 'No signal' message  and then 'Starting up'  and then waiting for reboot , back to 'No signal' , 'Starting up'  etc , repeat ad nauseam  until eventually it returns to normal for five minutes , max  , and then back to 'No signal' . 

< I have of course turned everything off and on again , unplugged/replugged , blah , blah > 

 

Not had it a fortnight . Glad I haven't put the Freeview box in the loft  , yet !

And it's getting worse

 

Just now on my service status 3 (THREE!) faults :

 

There is a fault disruption

You might find that your Virgin TV service is not working at the moment. Boxes may also be constantly rebooting or getting a network availabilty error message

Was doing the same in South East London but has now stopped here and able to boot fine. though no apps and so on yet.


200Mb(SH2 SH2AC Hub 3.0), 2 X V6 TV XL, Phone M. 100Mb Business (Hitron Hub).

Mine has been back up and running  for about 40 minutes now  .  Fingers crossed , it'll  stay that way  .
