Stuttering on recorded playback

Hi,

We are getting "stuttering" on the playback of recorded television on our Tivo.  It happens at irregular times for a period of 30 seconds to a minute, but is happening during most things we watch now.  Is there anything that can be done to address this?

Hi Chris,

 

Many thanks for coming in and posting your comment for the first time, welcome into the Community.

 

I'm sorry that the TV services haven't been the best and certainly when you're trying to view your recordings. 

 

I have been into the TV services in the property and have identified an issue with the hard drive. This would need require an engineer and most likely a box swap.

Welcome to the Community!

I've located your account and run some checks on your TiVo®. It looks like there's an issue with the signal levels that are likely causing this issue.

I'd like to send a technician to come out and fix this for you. I've sent you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) So I can get this arranged for you.

Hi Josh, thanks for looking into this. Can't see a private message. Funny if it signal as watching it live is ok, just recordings and they are OK after I stop it, power off, then try again.
