So what's with the Lip Sync then?

Are Virgin still suggesting all the users reporting problems are doing something wrong?

Been going on for months now and still not fixed.
I get really bad lagging on ch278. But when the adverts are on, no problem.

I suppose the suggestion is it's my equipment at fault? *rollseyes* AGAIN

Thanks for letting us know about this in the community.

 

I have checked and I'm unable to find any known issues with that channel at the moment so can I confirm whether you're experiencing this problem with any other channels?

My Tivo is connected via my AV receiver with the AV sync option permanently set to +200ms to overcome the lip sync issue. Every time I restart the Tivo the lip sync corrects itself (so my +200ms offset doesn't need to be applied), but only for about an hour or two before it drifts out again.

Similar behaviour to me............But Virgin somehow cannot replicate the issue.
Took them 2 weeks to respond to me........classic stalling tactics.

I didn't even bother reporting it. A quick Google search when I first noticed it made me realise it's a common problem and so I've just learned to live with it. VM probably love customers like me (the lazy ones).

Funny, I am thinking the same. 
I don't often let them win but I really cannot be ar&ed to continue with this.
Their stalling tactics have worked.

Well done Virgin Media, pi%%ing your customers off to the point where they stop complaining has worked with me.
