What has been done about the slow TiVo boxes? Mine is 6 or so years old and is extremely slow. This problem was supposed to have been solved by new software. If there is not a viable solution soon, I for one will be moving to a competitor.

You're right in that since the last firmware update, the number of reports we've had regarding the TiVo has drastically decreased. With that in mind we're looking at instances of the TiVo being slow as individual issues, I've tried to locate your account to take a closer look at this from our end but I've not been able to locate your account unfortunately.
