Does anyone find their TV very slow. I'm new to virgin. Our TV has built in Netflix and YouTube. If I use the tv to view these it's super fast. If I try to watch these via the TiVo box it's painfully slow. Appears to buffer for an age before downloading.
having the same problem too. I've read it's due to the Tivo box becoming dated, apparently Virgin are releasing a new box next year so hopefully that will resolve the issues. Sorry I can't be more constructive.
They were once quite quick. I've had one since near day 1. With added new features they have progressively got slower and slower. As stated the design is dated and old now. A new hardware design is long overdue. Just take a look through this forum at complaints of slow boxes.
There is an issue still ongoing and work is being carried out currently to test the slowness against some work we've been doing. Whilst there is nothing official, I can see that there is some progress and that this has been made a priority to fix. In the meantime, please try Clearing the TiVo's cache.
Thank you for your message back to me so soon, I'm sorry that clearing the cache wasn't successful for you. There is a known issue with the TiVo currently that the engineers are working on to resolve. With Halloween here maybe they'll be able to carve up a resolution soon
