Replace broken Cisco V box

Hi, I was just wondering what the process would be to replace a broken Cisco V box. I awoke this morning to find an error code on the box (er41) and (rest). The box is just stuck in a boot loop. Stupidly I removed the screws and broke the seal on the bottom of the box.

Can you tel me how I can get this replaced, I'm assuming that Virgin will not replace this under warranty as its been tampered with but is itpossivle to just but one from the likes of eBay or are they specific to the users home/card? Thanks for the help. Pete.

Re: Replace broken Cisco V box

If you get one from eBay you'll be in receipt of stolen property as TiVo boxes belong to VM.

The only thing you can do is ring in and explain and hope for a good outcome. Not sure of cost if you have to pay.

Re: Replace broken Cisco V box

Ah right, I didn't realise that, thanks for pointing it out.

I'll give them a call and see what they say.

Thanks for the help.
