Recordings are not great

Anything i record on my TiVo box just now has issues, they are constantly juddering and sometimes freeze. Thought it may be due to free space available so i reduced it to under 40% but has not helped with amy recording after that.

Has anybody had these problems and know how to fix it?

If live TV is not similarly affected, your hard disk is likely to be the cause.

Virgin Media can check this and arrange a replacement box or engineer call as appropriate.

Live TV is fine it's just recordings 

Will give them a call and arrange a visit

Hi g6dds,

Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your TiVo® recordings. I've located your account and have run some checks on the box. I can see that the TiVo® hasn't been rebooted for a while.

 

Can you try rebooting the box by switching it off at the mains for 20 seconds and turning it back on?

Also, does the issue affect all recordings or just some of them?
