Recording from abroad.

About to go to Greece for two weeks and wondering if i should be able to set up recordings via my Ipad while there. It doesn't matter too much if they fail because they should all still be on demand when we return but if the app wouldn't allow it at all i could set manual recordings up for when i think they will be on.

Re: Recording from abroad.

I've kept an eye on my TiVo from the far side of Canada - and Edinburgh and Newcastle but where's the bragging in those two Smiley Happy

I see no reason why your iPad on Greek Wi-Fi wouldn't work.

I've always given my TiVo a reboot prior to any holiday taken.

Re: Recording from abroad.

What the possible benefits of rebooting ( i presume by just switiching the plug on and off?) before a holiday?

it just give it a refresh and makes it less likely to crash, I find a reboot once a month keeps it in good running order
