Re: Tivo Box

It can be done. If you connect the TiVo with a scary socket to the DVD and record in real time i.e. You won't be able to watch anything else. Never tried it myself but other peeps on here do it.

Re: Tivo Box

using SCART downgrades the signal to Standard Definition.

there is no way to copy any recording of HD channels, in HD

true, but he said " copy" not re-record in realtime

there is not way to "copy"  data files from Tivo - the usual meaning of " copy "

Re: Tivo Box

Yes you can copy a recording on tivo to dvd. Connect tivo to recorder by scart. It won't copy in hd just sd. I do it so I know it works.

You need to "play recording" on tivo then start recording on dvd recorder. Thus you cannot watch anything else at the same time.
