On demand pause function

Hi All,

I am new to virgin media and i am experiencing a problem, when i put an on demand film on it only lets me pause it for two minutes or so before it switches it off....is this a standard setting as the kids cant finish their tea in time ?

Agree very frustrating! If I pause on demand I usually get a mssg to say something like "you have had .. Paused for 10 minutes do you wish to continue watching" then if I dont do anything it stops the programme and I have to then go into it again and fast forward to where I was (also a pain!) mine is 10 mins tho not 2 - quite annoying if you want to make a cuppa or pop to the loo!

The usual time for On Demand pause function to work is generally up to ten minutes, but it can be less on certain assets via iPlayers.
