Non-HD Overrides HD

If I set a HD recording, and someone else in the house sets the same recording but not in HD, why is it that the HD one gets cancelled?  I know I can set it to record "everything", but then I get about five or six recordings of the same programme, some of which may prevent other programmes from recording.

Re: Non-HD Overrides HD

This is a 'feature' of Series Link+. You can only have one Series Link+ for a program.

If there is an existing Series Link+, any new Series Link+ (and its settings) becomes the only one for that program.

Re: Non-HD Overrides HD

It's an unfinished feature.  How about a warning like: How about "You already have a series link etc........Do you wish to override these settings?"
