No Dolby Digital 5.1 on recorded programmes since Aug 2015

When is this ever going to be fixed?   Sick of paying for something that doesn't work!

Seems to be a case of "get what you are given" with Virgin. They don't care for listening to customers or providing customer service. Very poor attitude that seems to go right to the top as even the CEO office ignored the issue after initially promising a response within 24 hours.

Its not actually true anyway. There are two ways you can get DD 5.1.

1. Buy an amplifier that supports HDMI.

2. Get a little adapter that plugs into the Tivo HDMI port and outputs the audio signal over an optical link to your amplifier

That's not really the point when it worked perfectly well before and then Virgin/TiVo broke it and never did anything about it so much so they removed the feature from the descriptions of the service on the internet.

Don't forget blaming the customers for using it!

Their attitude to this and the speed issues show that Liberty Global aka VM don't really care about their TV platform and its customers!

I assume Tom Mockridge gets his TV by other means.
