My Tivo box just did a reboot at 04:30am presumably for a software update and when it came back up i got the dreaded ip address conflict.
Any fix short of switching the box off and wait for dhcp to release the IP or renew?
Whats the lease time for a Tivo IP address?

Its ok im a network engineer myself and fixed it.
For some reason the tivo box was attempting under dhcp mode to select an entirely different subnet from a ghost dhcp server.
Lets just call it a Tivo bug - switching to manual ip and subnet fixed it.
