Netflix - "we are unable to process this request"

I am trying to access Netflix via TiVo.

I am not even able to sign in, I just get a message "we are unable to process your request at the moment".

But oh look, Netflix works fine on my Apple TV on the same local network.

When are going to sort out these constant problems, Virgin Media?

I'm getting really fed up of this unreliable service now - for the money I pay you every month, over £100, it is really not good enough.

Thanks for posting and apologies to hear you are having an issue logging into Netflix via the TiVo®. 

 

How many devices have you already used to sign in to your Netflix? 

 

When going into the settings on TiVo® is there any account information already stored?

 

Have you tried again since posting? How have things been?

We have used both TiVo boxes an Apple TV and two iPads to sign in.

Having tried it again today, it now worked and I was able to sign in.

But the problem is that this "service" is completely unreliable.

Netflix works fine on both iPads, and the Apple TV. It is only ever the TiVo that has the problem.

I wanted to pop by and say I'm glad you we're able to sign in in the end to Netflix.  Is this something that happens frequently/intermittently?

 

If so, let me know and we can check this further for you.

Yes it does, on both Tivo boxes. To the extent I've given up trying to watch Netflix via TiVo as it simply is not reliable.

Apple TV works perfectly. On the same network of course.

Got exactly the same have been through umpteen processes with VM techs, no joy.

Complete waste of time. Apple TV of course works all the time, shame Apple don't make the set top boxes or run Virginmedia. It might work as it is supposed to then :-(
