Netflix picture quality

I am experiencing variable picture quality when watching Netflix through a TiVo box. Sometimes it's fine for ages and then suddenly there's a noticeable deterioration.

Yes still having the same problem and occasionally the sound fades out for a moment. I haven't noticed this on normal TV channels which also come through the same Virgin Tivo box. The only other app we use on the TV is iplayer and that takes ages to load and sometimes we can't watch programmes or they freeze midway.
