Netflix annoyance

Netflix on my tivo box keeps getting stuck at 25% loading at least 5 times before finally working. Sometimes a message about internet connection comes up but not all the time. It happens at different times of the day and for different shows. I've tried both tivo boxes in the house and it is the same for both.

this stuck at 25% has been  reported on several threads.

e.g.http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Virgin-Media-TiVo-service/25-Ahhhhh/m-p/3138821#U3138821

there are also threads reporting this happening on other devices - PCs, TVs,

 maybe the forum staff should combine the threads / pool the answers ( when they have some) /collect all the bug reports in one place to analyse ?

there does not seem to be a one-size-fits-all explanation

I'm sorry to hear that you're being impacted by the buffering issue with Netflix right now.  I have taken a closer look to carry out some checks to confirm or rule out any possible underlying issues.

So far after checking both boxes signal and power levels are looking fine.  There are no network issues present either which I'm happy to report.

I know you mentioned it happens on both your TiVo® boxes, does it happen on any other apps like BBC iPlayer or YouTube?  If you don't normally use them, can you please given them a try and let me know the outcome?

Thanks for the reply rachel82,

If it only Netflix affected, it will be related to a known issue we have been working on.  There's currently no underlying issues present to cause this as this has already been ruled out.  

We are hoping to make a lot of changes over the coming months which will hopefully lead to many improvements with TiVo® including the Netflix app.

+ how long have you been working on it & when can we expect a complete fix
