I am experiencing poor sound quality when watching programmes on the Netflix App though my Tivo box. I use a surround sound system and the HD sound indicator illuminates on the receiver, but the sound is very poor especially when people are talking in a room for some reason. The sound is very splashy/sibilant.
It occurs on programmes such as Bloodline, Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad etc.
This does not occur when I watch on my iPad on the same programmes.
I only experience these sound issues when watching films on Netflix through the TIVO box. Live tv and recorded programmes on the TIVO box are absolutely fine. I have been experiencing this problem with the Netflix app for some time now.
I would just like to add that I have been experiencing this sound problem for well over a year and I presume you have been aware of it for some time. Is there any estimate on how much longer it will take to resolve ?
