N27 cable unplugged

Had a message saying programme data was running out, connect to the Virgin Network service but every time I try to do that it gets stuck at 'preparing' and says the network cable is unplugged (it's not) and clicking ok for more info gives an error code N27. The router is working fine, tried changing the cable but getting the same problem, does anyone have any advice?

Re: N27 cable unplugged

The error refers to the internal modem of the TiVo Box and not the ethernet cable.

Re: N27 cable unplugged

Thanks, does that mean the box needs replacing or can it be fixed?

Re: N27 cable unplugged

The box will need to be replaced.

Also if the box is booted fine and working for TV DO NOT disconnect the power as the modem fault will also prevent the box from rebooting.

Re: N27 cable unplugged

Hello tvr82,

Welcome to the community Smiley Happy

I can see our superuser Tidus has been helping out here. What I would like to do next is to arrange for a technician to visit your property so if you click on the purple envelope at the top right of the screen you will see a message waiting for you with further information.

Talk to you soon
