Is this "TBA" happening on schedules for days that are imminent and within the next week? Or beyond that?

For what it's worth, the terrestrial channels tend to provide EPG updates on Fridays/Saturdays each week, so the guide will drop to an 8 day one on Thursday before then building upto the full 14 again, and the cycle repeats. Some of the Discovery/National Geographics tend to have rolling 14 days.

I totally understand your frustration with this, I know I'd be pulling what little hair I have left out
I've done some further digging around here, and can see that the last time the box attempted to contact us for updates was on Tuesday, it seems that the box was also restarted at the same time so this is probably why I can see that date. I'd like to ask you to do the following on the remote control
Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network > Connect to the Virgin Media Service now
I'd really appreciate if you could post hear shortly after you've done this, so I can check things again for you, just to see if this starts it asking for regular updates again.
