That's not normal. I'd give faults a ring and get them to check your signal levels. If they're too low/high they'll send an engineer to sort it out.

Really sorry to hear you've had trouble with On Demand.
I've run diagnostics on your equipment and all of your levels are looking healthy at the moment. Have you experienced any more pixilation since posting?
