Lip Sync

So what's the solution? Have rebooted the box, it's not specific to HD but I recall from before, you told me that higher channel numbers are more prone to be affected.

That is the case here with 279, 281 being affected but not 103.

Seems to be specific to the food channels.

Re: Lip Sync

103 is an SD channel.

How are you receiving the audio? Direct from the TV, or otherwise?

Re: Lip Sync

Audio leading or lagging the picture?

Tried toggling the Dolby/PCM audio setting?

Re: Lip Sync

Thanks for your help but the problem isn't with my equipment or settings. This is a signal issue.
All the audio I'm receiving, HD channels or SD channels, is PCM.
103 for example, (ITV) don't broadcast HD audio

Re: Lip Sync

They won't do - ITV1 on 103 is an SD channel.

Does the problem manifest itself when the TiVo is connected directly to the TV?

Re: Lip Sync

Sorry yes.......There's no correlation HD or SD.
I've not disconnected the AMP and won't be because it's never been a problem.

It's an external signal issue - had it before and the morons come round and have to adjust the levels outside in the street box
