Intermittent loss of signal on TiVo box

Hello,

Does anyone know an email address to get in touch with this company?

I have got the TiVo box, since the first day it has the same problem:

Intermittent loss of signal.

I have called already 6 times, every time I spend 10 pounds!

This chat is useless because always busy!

Can anyone help to solve the situation?

Hi pandinobianco,

Do you have the Virgin TV6 TiVo box or the older style one?

If you have a Virgin landline you can call Virgin for free from 150 or if you are with virgin you can call 150 free from your virgin mobile also.

Thanks for your reply.

I have a TiVo, it does not work and so far no one in the Virgin Media Team help me out with this issue.

I know if I had a Virgin Media mobile or landline, but I do not, thank you anyway for reminding me.

Could you help me to solve this problem with TiVo?

You can check to see if it's a signal issue to your box by checking the below.

Access the tv box menu and go to Help & Settings -> System Info -> Diagnostics and from this screen using the down arrows check to see what percentage is recorded for the signal strength and also the SNR.

For reference mines is 100% and SNR is 44, what are yours reported as?

I have checked like you suggested, here the result:

Signal Strength: 100%

SNR: 37

Would you say? Sounds good, maybe the problem is not in the signal?

Doesn't appear to be a signal or power issue then.

Is there a clicking noise from the box at all? These boxes have internal hard drives and perhaps if it's failing then it may cause the box to reboot.

Any sound from the box, but the problem does not disappear.
Do you think it is better to change the box?
