Has TiVo had an update?

TiVo slow with everything. My shows now has recordings all over the place and live pause jumps to real time when started again.

I am really regretting the move from Sky. I'm even tempted just to pay the cancellation charge just to get out as this TiVo box is simply littered with issues....

No cancellation charge at the mo die to the imminent price increase!

Just phone retentions. 150, opt 4 then opt 5 I think.

I don't understand. So I can just cancel, send the gear back and be done? without a hefty cancellation charge?

The price rise letters and emails are on their way out.
I have not received my notification of the rises yet but they are coming and this therefore is a valid reason to cancel with no charge.
From what I have been reading it seems many are fleeing right now due to the rise but also coming at the time when the service is becoming so bad......

I wouldn't use the term 'many' - although there appears to be many unhappy customers on the SKY forums!
