Guide

my TiVo box restarted itself 20 minutes ago, now the guide just says to be anounced,  annoying as cannot see what's on tv!

Try a clear programme info and planned recordings. It won't wipe any recordings or thumbs but should reset the guide (planned recs will reappear when it calls back)

Try Home, help and settings, settings, network, connect to virgin media service.
It should rebuild the guide.

Have you tried a full reboot of the TiVo?  Home - Help and Settings - clear or reset TiVo box - Restart the TiVo box.

Cleared some series links, did a full reboot, then went into settings network status and reconnected to to virgin media service, it took an hour but now all the menus are up 

 

sadly my recording did not work last night but it's all working now

Well spoke too soon, got no tv whet so ever now!

not impressed!

Think this TiVo box is goosed, it's not even a year old
