External junction box question

Hi all,

So the pre installation work took place yesterday when I wasn't here. The guys dug up the pavement and installed the cable to an outside wall on the right hand side of the property and left a loop of 3m worth of cable.

Only problem is I want the hub to be located in the hallway which is on the left of the property about 5m away.

The question is, when the brown external junction box is installed outside, do they come straight through the same point into the property or can they then run another cable from the external junction box around the front of the house to another entry point?

Re: External junction box question

Cables can go internally or externally to where they are needed.

Re: External junction box question

Thanks

So from the external junction box they could run the cables externally to another entry point.

Re: External junction box question

Yep. In fact external routes are preferred to internal ones.
