I have been having issues with my whole set up but here is my latest annoyance.
The you tube app suffers more then anything from buffering. It is impossible to watch. I have done a speed check but that only tests the speed that my hub receives not my set top box.
I have heard the tivo box has its own receiver and has a top speed of 10 mbps.
So my questions are a) If i connect the hub to the tivo box using an ethernet cable, will the tivo box get the same speed as the hub? b) If then what is the benefit of connecting the box to the hub?
Thank you for you help.
Thanks for your post and apologies for the issues you are having using YouTube on the TiVo®.
I can confirm we've raised this up as a fault under reference: F003830141
Latest news is that this has been investigated by our teams and now passed over to an external team. As well as this we've raised a ticket with Google.
The next update is due at 10am tomorrow.
With regards to your questions:
Connecting your hub to your TiVo® won't give you any extra speed. This enables you to control your TV via a smartphone.
If you have any other queries or questions please keep them to the one thread.
