Hi, I got set up today with phone, internet and tv. I have the 500gb TiVo box. I keep getting a distorted/warbling sound when watching channels. Sometimes the sound just goes completely. I have the hdmi set up on a hdmi splitter however this worked fine with a free view hd box and continues to with a PS4?
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your sound.
The checks you've done so far are great, I just need to check a couple more things. Can you try a HDMI directly between the TiVo® and the TV but in a different HDMI port? For example, if you currently use HDMI 1, try putting the HDMI into HDMI 2 instead.
With the tests you've done already, we can rule out the splitter and the leads as the cause of the problem. If you continue to get problems after switching ports then we can assume the TiVo® is at fault.

Hi Josh, I've tried this also with hdmi3 direct to the tv but the same problem occurs. I have an engineer coming now Saturday. The only thing other than a faulty box I can think is an issue with signal being too high or out of sync but hopefully we'll find out Saturday.
