Channel Info not updating

Hi all,

 

This is probably a common problem with a simple solution. All channels in the guide on Tivo say to be announced or unavailable. Have a message in Tivo inbox about it telling me to update with code (M60), which I have done 3 times. To no effect. I have 150mb dl speed on internet and the on demand stuff seems to be working ok (only checked BBC iplayer). Also over the last month or so my recording quality has deteriorated slowly i.e. recorded program pauses for about 30seconds then restarts very pixelated with ghost images losing the 30second period of the programme. This happens to every recording up to 5 times. Do not know if all problems are related. TiVo box is always on and is about 5 or 6 years old at least (could be longer). Any hints or tips would be appreciated.

I ask because the only thing I have not done is cleared or reset the box which seems my only option left. Loathe to do this because of all series links and recording will disappear.

How do I check my TiVo box's network and system information?

Try this it can take upto 1 hr .

Also try not to power off Tivo over night as this is when the data is updated .

Also have a look at the Eco mode feature to get the best out of  tivo when not in use .

If still not working please call in.

I did all the network tests etc and everything said it was ok.

Eventually it all reloaded itself around midnight.... so will put it down to a software brainfa*t.

all tickety boo no though ty again
