Cease TV

Just wanted to canvass a few thoughts before I ring CS, forewarned so to speak.

Changed package on 16th December due to price increase, due to switch to new package on 15th January so 14 day cooling off now gone. Letter said have until 31st January to cance/change package. If I now want to cease TV, do you think there will be any cancellation fees?

Cheers and happy new year

Re: Cease TV

If the letter said 31st January then I guess no. But that is a guess. You can't get an answer on here from vm because of the dpa. You'll have to ring in I'm afraid.

Re: Cease TV

Aye, just rang them. As I took out a new contract which now falls outside the cooling off period there are cancellation fees of £240 to cease TV. It will pro-rata reduce each month I am told, so after 6 months it would be £120.

Cheers
