Can't sign in to TV anywhere app on android

I have just got a tivo box (stayed in all day and it got delivered after 8PM!), and would like to use the tv anywhere app on my android phone - but it won't let me sign in - does it take some time for the user to become associated? I even created a new user, but that won't sign in either...

Hi there markrand, 

Firstly I'd like to welcome you to the forums and say that I'm really sorry to hear that you've been having problems setting up TV Anywhere after your recent TiVo® installation. 

It can take up to 24 hours for all the background information to kick in, which will allow you to use TV Anywhere. Hopefully now you should be able to use this service with no issue. If not, could you please make a post on our TV Anywhere board detailing any error codes you may be getting along with the make and model of the phone you're using.
