Can I unplug my tivo box from the mains?

Without it affecting anything?  I'm moving on Monday and currently packing all my stuff up so I haven't git time for anyone to uninstall it, really need to do it myself.

Thanks xx

it's safe to unplug, power first - coax cable and other connections last.

are you moving locally?

Re: Can I unplug my tivo box from the mains?

the firm, probably white, cable that comes from the Virgin side of things - might be a metallic splitter or a white box depending on what services you have coming into your current place.

local move = good, TiVo can usually only be moved within the same area (served by the same head-end) otherwise it's a new install in the new place meaning you lose your recordings.

Hi Michelle74 Smiley Happy

Thank you for coming in and posting, welcome! Smiley Happy

It's great to see that you've met one of our members already, I can see that you mentioned moving this Monday. I hope the move is relatively calm, (they never are!), and that we've been able to help. Have we been able to arrange a move of services to the new home for you?

Keep in touch.

Ben
